The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is an independent humanitarian NGO based in Norway, established in 1946 to assist refugees in post-World War II Europe. Over the years, it has evolved into a global organization providing emergency assistance, protection, and durable solutions to refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in more than 40 countries affected by conflicts, disasters, and climate change.
