Howard University

Howard University is a private, historically Black research university located in Washington, D.C. Founded in 1867, it was established to educate newly freed African Americans in various fields, including teaching, law, and medicine. The university spans a 256-acre campus and includes dedicated sites for its School of Law and School of Divinity, among other research facilities.
