Munily App is a proptech company based in Panama City, founded in 2019. It specializes in access control management for gated residential communities in Latin America. As a startup that participated in Y Combinator’s Winter 2022 batch, Munily has a team of about 30 employees dedicated to enhancing security and operational efficiency in these communities. The core product is a mobile and tablet app that streamlines visitor access by connecting security guards, residents, and administrators. The app allows security guards to take photos of visitors' IDs and select their destination apartments. Residents receive real-time notifications to approve or deny access. Additionally, Munily features a QR code system integrated with WhatsApp for quick entry approval, further improving communication and security. Munily targets residential gated communities, aiming to modernize access control processes and enhance safety and convenience for residents and security personnel alike.
