Core Responsibilities

The Associate Staff Accountant will manage day-to-day transactional work for multiple small business and nonprofit clients, including recording daily transactions and assisting with monthly account reconciliations. Key duties involve supporting accounts payable, receivable, and payroll workflows while preparing standardized monthly financial reporting packages.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or be in progress) along with 2-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or client accounting services. A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency with cloud accounting software like QuickBooks Online or Xero is required.
