Core Responsibilities

About STQRY STQRY is a global storytelling platform founded in 2006 that helps museums, parks, historic sites, cities, and tour operators connect with their audiences through mobile apps, audio guides, virtual tours, and interactive experiences. We're a close-knit remote team of 25 across the US, New Zealand, Canada, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The Role We're looking for a Marketing Lead who can own our marketing function end to end — someone who can set the strategy and roll up their sleeves to execute it. You'll be the driving force behind how STQRY shows up in the market: launching features, creating content, managing campaigns, and improving our web presence. We're a small team that punches above its weight, and we expect you to lean heavily on AI tools to move fast, produce high-quality work, and multiply your output. You may work alongside one other marketing team member, and you'll have the ability to bring in freelancers or agencies for short-term projects as needed. This is not an entry-level or training position. This role is ideal for someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do — you see what needs to happen and make it happen. Responsibilities Own and execute product launches: coordinate messaging, content, social media, email campaigns, and sales enablement materials Develop and manage content strategy: blog posts, case studies, website copy, brochures, and video storyboards Manage and grow STQRY's social media presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms Collaborate on website improvements and contribute to conversion rate optimization Work with the SEO specialist to align content with keyword strategies Coordinate with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Design teams to ensure marketing supports business goals Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Canva AI) to accelerate content creation, research, and campaign execution Manage external designers, freelancers, and agencies when needed Track performance metrics and report on marketing activities weekly Propose and drive new marketing initiatives — if we need to revamp the website, you come with a plan

We don't just want someone who's "tried ChatGPT" — we want someone who has built AI into their daily workflow. Basic understanding of SEO principles Strong project management skills — you can juggle multiple projects, set deadlines, and follow through Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment Nice to Have Experience in the tourism, cultural, or visitor experience industry Familiarity with project management tools like Shortcut Experience managing or mentoring junior marketing staff
