What You'll Do
Own maintenance, patching, and upgrades across the database fleet; lead performance tuning, indexing strategy, and query optimization for high-throughput systems. Design and own backup/recovery strategy, replication, and disaster recovery planning. Automate database provisioning and maintenance with Terraform, and plan and execute complex data migration and conversion routines.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator in production environments. Deep PostgreSQL expertise and solid experience with AWS services like RDS and EC2. Proven backup/recovery and disaster recovery planning for critical systems.
