What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

Work through a daily queue of active water mitigation projects.
Transfer field data from Clean Claims into Cotality Mitigate accurately and efficiently.
Rebuild water mitigation sketches based on information captured by field technicians.
Enter drying logs, moisture readings, equipment records, and other job-related information.
Complete insurance carrier-required documentation according to established standards.
Compare information between Clean Claims and Cotality Mitigate to ensure consistency.
Review moisture readings and drying trends to identify information that appears incomplete or inaccurate.
Identify missing entries, data gaps, unusual readings, and discrepancies between systems.
Proactively flag documentation issues to the assigned project manager.
Coordinate with project managers to obtain clarification and resolve discrepancies.
Correct documentation as needed before reports are finalized and submitted.
Maintain organized and accurate records for every assigned project.
Process all assigned items with urgency and complete them within the same business day.
Follow internal procedures and insurance carrier documentation requirements.
Learn and adapt quickly to specialized restoration and documentation software.
Protect confidential customer, property, and insurance information.

What We're Looking For

POSITION: Mitigation Documentation Specialist

Location: Remote (Globally) | Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (EST) | Compensation: 1200 - 1800 USD/month | Independent contractor position

• Ability to learn new systems and workflows quickly.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proactive approach to identifying and communicating potential issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily queue of assignments.
• Comfortable asking questions and escalating discrepancies when clarification is needed.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional remote-work environment.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
• Nice-to-Haves:
• Previous experience in water mitigation, property restoration, insurance, construction, or a related industry.
• Experience preparing insurance carrier or compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with Clean Claims, Cotality Mitigate, or similar restoration software.
• Experience working with drying logs, moisture readings, equipment records, or mitigation sketches.
• Background in quality assurance, data validation, documentation review, or high-volume data processing.
• Experience working remotely with a U.S.-based company or team.
