What You'll Do

Position summary
The Marketplace and Omnichannel Operations Manager directs daily execution across AII Beauty’s marketplace department, supporting a portfolio of more than 50 beauty brands. This role translates leadership priorities into clear assignments, coordinates teams and vendors, and holds functional managers accountable for timely, accurate delivery. The manager anticipates risks, improves workflows, and reduces the need for repeated follow-up from the Director.
Key responsibilities
• Convert approved initiatives into actionable work plans with defined outcomes, owners, deadlines, and dependencies.
• Own Monday.com as the central work tracker; maintain priorities, delivery dates, blockers, next actions, and evidence of completion.
• Assign work through functional managers, establish delivery commitments, and reprioritize routine work within approved business priorities.
• Hold managers accountable for their teams’ execution; address missed commitments, require recovery plans, and escalate recurring problems.
• Coordinate launches and promotions across inventory, catalog, content, advertising, and affiliate teams to ensure readiness and timely delivery.
• Follow up directly with other AII departments, brand teams, agencies, and outside vendors to obtain responses and resolve open items.
• Identify unassigned work, capacity constraints, deadline risks, and recurring process failures; implement workflow improvements with functional leads.
• Surface marketplace opportunities and coordinate their evaluation with brand managers, analysts, and advertising owners.

• Experience managing concurrent launches, projects, and operational issues with clear prioritization and follow-through.
• Ability to diagnose blockers, assess business impact, make routine decisions independently, and escalate with a recommended solution.
• Experience documenting performance concerns and providing factual, constructive input to management reviews.
• Proficiency with Monday.com or a comparable work management platform, with the ability to establish and maintain disciplined Monday.com workflows.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including concise updates, explicit assignments, and effective vendor and cross-department follow-up.
