Contractor: IT Operations Specialist

Support Newsela staff by resolving IT requests related to access, security, and equipment. Manage staff onboarding and offboarding processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors. Implement support models and security guidelines established by the Senior System Administrator.

2+ years of experience in an IT Support role. Deep working knowledge of Apple hardware and macOS, Google Workspace, Iru/Kandji, and Slack. Strong troubleshooting skills and exceptional communication abilities in English.

This is a fully remote position with hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EDT, including occasional minor after-hours support. All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
