AlpacaCore Responsibilities
The Counsel will draft, review, and negotiate complex financial and commercial agreements, including those related to clearing, crypto, securities lending, and various partnerships, while developing scalable contracting frameworks. This role involves close collaboration with Sales, Compliance, Operations, and other teams to ensure commercial arrangements meet regulatory and operational needs.
Requirements
Candidates must be licensed attorneys with 5-8+ years of experience at a financial services institution or a law firm serving such clients, possessing a strong history of commercial and transactional legal work in finance. Essential requirements include experience negotiating complex financial agreements and familiarity with U.S. regulatory regimes like SEC/FINRA and CFTC/NFA.
