CS Manager - Application Security Mercado Pago
Mercado LibreCore Responsibilities
Lead the application security strategy and roadmap for Mercado Pago, defining frameworks, processes, and metrics for the team including threat modeling, pentesting, vulnerability management, and forensic readiness. Ensure the security of critical initiatives through early proposal reviews and comprehensive pentesting coverage across web platforms, APIs, mobile, and generative AI agents. Drive technical research to detect high-impact vulnerabilities and lead the secure adoption of generative AI practices such as prompt hardening and assisted review.
Requirements
Solid experience in cybersecurity with a focus on application security and direct management of technical teams. Mastery of threat modeling, application maturity programs, and execution of security tests in web ecosystems, APIs, mobile, cloud, and agent-based applications. Knowledge of microservices architectures, identity and access management, cloud infrastructure, container security, CI/CD pipeline security, applied cryptography for payments, and regulatory standards like PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
