Security Engineer - Compliance & Mercado Pago Security

Manage the lifecycle of cryptographic keys and execute Key Ceremonies ensuring dual control and secure custody. Participate in PCI DSS and PCI PIN certification processes, managing external audits and action plans. Collaborate with IT and business areas in key injection processes for POS devices, ensuring transactional security.

Practical experience in configuring and maintaining Hardware Security Modules and KLD devices. Experience in planning and executing Key Ceremonies, including key generation and custody. Knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric algorithms such as AES, RSA, and ECC, as well as PKI and X.509 certificate management.
