Core Responsibilities

The role involves providing humanitarian assistance and psychosocial support to vulnerable Venezuelan and Colombian households facing child protection risks, focusing on identifying needs, documenting information, and implementing case management tools. Key duties include direct case management for at-risk children, ensuring adherence to protection protocols, coordinating referrals with other agencies, and maintaining accurate case files.

Requirements

Candidates must be a Technologist, a final-semester student, or a professional in Psychology or Social Work, with a minimum of 2 years of certified experience in child protection, working with vulnerable populations, psychosocial care, and knowledge of the Colombian Family Welfare System (SNBF). Applicants must be willing to reside in Maicao, La Guajira, and travel as required.
