Data Security Specialist

Operate and maintain data classification tools to identify and tag sensitive information across enterprise systems. Analyze and secure unstructured data in File Shares and SharePoint, ensuring appropriate access controls and protection mechanisms. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align classification efforts with business and compliance requirements. Monitor data access and classification coverage; generate audit-ready reports for compliance reviews.

2+ years of experience in data access governance, information security, or IT governance roles. Hands-on experience with data classification tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Varonis, Symantec DLP). Familiarity with securing unstructured data in File Shares and SharePoint environments. Knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including Active Directory and Entra ID.
