About the Company: Sagan represents a U.S.-based accounting and financial services firm that supports multiple client accounts, with a focus on delivering accurate financial reporting and streamlined accounting operations for growing businesses. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support month-end close and day-to-day accounting operations across multiple client accounts. The ideal candidate has strong QuickBooks Online expertise, experience working in a Client Accounting Services (CAS) environment, and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP. Experience supporting e-commerce businesses is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting activities across multiple client accounts. Perform month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online. Ensure financial reporting complies with U.S. GAAP. Support bookkeeping and general ledger maintenance. Work with payment processors and e-commerce transaction data where applicable. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Qualifications: Client Accounting Services (CAS) experience. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online. Experience performing month-end close. Knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Experience managing multiple client accounts. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Nice-to-Haves: Experience supporting e-commerce businesses. Experience with platforms such as Shopify or Amazon. Experience with payment gateways such as Stripe or PayPal. Experience with additional cloud-based accounting applications.
