Position Overview: We are seeking candidates passionate for a challenge and an opportunity to make a big impact within a startup. We are looking for a skilled Graphic and Production Designer with a passion for the outdoors and a keen eye for design aesthetics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and on-brand graphics for our apparel products. The Graphic and Production Designer will support the Sales Departments with creative graphic design requests. Additionally, they will assist the Procurement Department with creating production artwork and order files. Responsibilities: Creative Projects: Create engaging and visually appealing graphics for apparel, including but not limited to shirts, fleece jackets, and accessories. Own the creative process to ensure the final product aligns with the creative direction and meets commercial objectives. Highest level of attention to detail. Following exact customer requests to efficiently use templates to build customer’s requested art. Collaborate with the sales and creative team to conceptualize and execute design concepts that align with brand guidelines and target markets. Design graphic art for different garment decorations: sublimation, screen printing, applique, embroidery, and other embellishment methods. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor analysis to ensure designs are innovative and competitive in the market. Production file creation and management: Create tech packs for international vendors for a variety of products (shirts, fleece, headwear, and socks). Work with production files to ensure designs are print-ready and meet quality standards for manufacturing processes. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Company Culture: Establish positive, and effective culture between multiple divisions who rely on design (procurement, operations, sales, finance). Participate in weekly meetings and regular training within the company. Positive energy and attitude working with others. Support company objective of rapid revenue growth. The Job’s Qualifications & Requirements: Required 1+ years of product design experience required. An ideal candidate will have designed graphics for apparel as well as production files and print-ready files. Exceptional skills with Adobe Software (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design work Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges. Exceptional attention to detail and organization, including color accuracy, typography, and overall design quality and consistency. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment. Strongly Preferred Experience with custom logo apparel and prints. Experience with knit products: hats, socks, and accessories. Experience working with a small company. Experience in product photography and photo editing.
