Engineering Director, AI Developer Experience (AIDE)

Own and scale the AI Developer Experience pillar, focusing on increasing shipped PRs per engineer through automation. Build a dedicated engineering team from part-time contributors and manage third-party vendor partnerships. Define and lead core workstreams including knowledge extraction, AI-assisted coding, and incident detection.
Requirements
Proven leadership of AI-native developer tooling teams at scale. Experience in building dedicated engineering teams and managing vendor partnerships. Hands-on technical credibility in AI tooling and comfort in high-velocity organizations.
