This role involves managing general ledger accounts related to inventory and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), performing month-end close procedures, and reconciling inventory sub-ledgers to the general ledger. The accountant will also partner with supply chain teams to ensure accurate recording of inventory movements, purchasing, and costing.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance along with 3 to 5+ years of accounting experience that includes significant inventory exposure. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is required, preferably with experience in e-commerce or consumer goods environments.
