Core Responsibilities

The role involves developing and linking community Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) plans to municipal DRR plans, promoting the elevation of municipal risk management offices to directorates, and establishing advocacy plans to secure municipal investment in Integrated Disaster Risk Management (IDRM). Key duties also include ensuring the functionality of community-level DRR committees (COLRED) and coordinating their articulation with the national CONRED system.

Requirements

Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in Administration, Social Work, Sociology, International Development, Agronomy, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Risk Management projects and Local Leadership. Essential personal skills include strategic, analytical, and systematic thinking, strong relationship management, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office applications, plus a valid 4-wheel vehicle driver's license.
