Senior Software Engineer Backend - IT Biometrics
Mercado LibreCore Responsibilities
Design, develop, and operate scalable and secure backend services for biometric authentication flows in Mercado Pago and Mercado Libre. Collaborate with Product, Security, and Mobile teams to create end-to-end solutions that enhance user experience. Promote engineering best practices, software quality, and technical excellence throughout the development cycle.
Requirements
Experience developing backend applications using Kotlin and/or Java. Proficiency in designing and implementing REST or gRPC APIs, as well as service-oriented architectures and microservices. Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, and experience working in cloud environments with CI/CD practices.
