Seniorr Software Engineer - Payment - Mercado Pago

Act as a technical reference for the team, continuously elevating the technical level of the group. Design, develop, and maintain highly efficient, reliable, and scalable distributed services that operate on the critical path of payment transactions. Ensure technical quality of developments with an end-to-end vision and minimize operational costs of production solutions.

Solid knowledge of distributed systems, including consistency, fault tolerance, idempotency, partitioning, and large-scale concurrency. Experience acting as a technical reference, guiding and reviewing the work of other engineers. Proficiency with asynchronous projects and architectures, including messaging and topic-based systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
