Python Developer - Remote in Uruguay

Debug and resolve issues across complex, multi-file codebases. Implement new backend or full-stack functionality. Refactor and migrate existing systems. Develop and extend unit and integration test suites.

2–7 years of professional software engineering experience. Strong proficiency in Python and professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript. Working knowledge of at least one additional language such as Java, C#, or Go. Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing.

This is an independent consulting opportunity rather than a traditional full-time position. Contributors are compensated on a per-project basis, with estimated hourly rates based on the expected time required to complete each project. Contributors manage their own availability and can continue working with other clients or employers.
