Core Responsibilities

The National Coordinator will oversee the implementation of the GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP) at the country level, managing the team, developing the Country Programme Strategy, and ensuring effective grant allocation and financial integrity. Responsibilities also include fostering partnerships, leading resource mobilization efforts, and ensuring robust monitoring and evaluation of SGP projects.

Requirements

Candidates require an advanced university degree (Master's) in a relevant field or a Bachelor's degree plus two additional years of experience, totaling a minimum of 2 or 4 years of relevant professional experience, respectively. Essential requirements include experience in managing environment/natural resource management projects, computer proficiency, and fluency in English.
