Senior Concrete Materials Expert

Review and approve the Contractor’s proposed materials and methods as delegated by the Resident Engineer. Supervise sampling and testing, and carry out random checks of material delivered to the project. Provide QA/QC technical advice and guidance to ensure that critical situations are quickly addressed. Mentor staff and supervise work in progress at the site, including quality control inspections.

Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with 8 years of relevant experience. In-depth knowledge of material properties, behavior, and failure analysis. Experience with dam projects including inspection, rehabilitation, and/or new design and construction. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
