The role is responsible for managing the Fruits and Vegetables category, ensuring the correct assortment, negotiating effectively with suppliers, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to maximize availability, rotation, and margin while upholding quality standards. Key duties include administering the product portfolio, monitoring performance metrics like rotation and spoilage, and proposing SKU changes based on market behavior.

Requirements

Candidates need 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or category management, ideally within retail, food, or perishables, along with proven experience negotiating with suppliers. A strong analytical profile, good organizational skills, intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, basic data analysis), and comfort with pressure are required.
