Chief Accountant / Chief Controller
Plata CardCore Responsibilities
Oversee all general accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with Mexican GAAP. Coordinate the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to CNBV, SAT, Banxico, and other applicable authorities. Develop and maintain robust internal control systems over financial reporting and operational accounting processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification: CPA, CIMA, ACCA or Contador Público Certificado (CPC). 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Deep knowledge of Mexican GAAP, regulatory frameworks (CNBV, SAT), and banking industry standards.
