Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Inbound Sales / Event Rental Specialist to support a high-volume order intake operation. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in the event rental, wedding, catering, or hospitality industry who enjoys helping customers plan successful events while maintaining exceptional accuracy and service. The successful candidate will primarily manage inbound calls and email orders, provide product recommendations, process orders accurately, and deliver outstanding customer support throughout the rental process. Key Responsibilities: Handle a high volume of inbound phone calls and email inquiries. Accurately enter customer orders into the order management system. Guide customers through product selection using the online rental catalog. Recommend appropriate rental items based on event type, guest count, style, and budget. Answer questions regarding pricing, availability, rental policies, and services. Review, update, and confirm customer orders. Provide timely customer service follow-up and resolve order-related inquiries. Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation. Conduct occasional light outreach to venues or prospective clients to support business development initiatives. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate order execution. Learn and effectively use company software and internal systems. Qualifications: 1 – 2+ years of experience in event rentals, wedding planning, catering, hospitality, or a closely related industry. Experience handling customer orders and providing exceptional customer service. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a clear, professional speaking voice. Strong attention to detail and a high level of order accuracy. Comfortable managing a high volume of inbound calls and emails. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Comfortable learning new software and technology. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business applications. Nice-to-Haves: Experience using Point of Rental software. Previous inbound sales or inside sales experience. Experience in upselling or recommending complementary products. Familiarity with event logistics and rental operations. Long-term career mindset with interest in growing within customer service or operations.
