
Centralized Application & Lease Specialist

Key Responsibilities: Leasing Operations Review rental applications and supporting documentation. Perform income verification and application approvals/denials. Verify applicant documentation (e.g., income, IDs, required forms) prior to lease generation. Generate leases and coordinate signature collection. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and internal policies. Systems & Data Management Maintain accurate records in CRM and leasing systems. Update applicant and resident information consistently. Support light reporting and process improvements as needed. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with onsite property teams on application and lease status. Communicate with applicants and residents regarding next steps and missing documentation. Provide clear, professional written communication.
Requirements
Qualifications: 1–3+ years of experience in leasing operations, property administration, customer service, or office support. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks accurately. Clear written English and professional communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience using CRM or leasing/property management systems (any platform; Sugar CRM a plus, not required). Comfortable working in a centralized, process-driven environment. Nice-to-Haves: Multifamily or student housing leasing experience. Prior work in centralized/shared-services leasing teams. Process improvement or compliance-focused mindset.
